Adventure Day

Today was adventure day with my brother. I went with him to PA to get his one flat tire fixed and his other front tire went flat. So we were stuck without a spare on the road to PA. Luckily my wife Rachelle came to the rescue. We took the two flat tires to PA, and got them replaced. Just when we were leaving PA, Canadian Tire called and turns out one of the coffemakers we returned wasn't a coffeemaker, so we had to straighten that out before I was labeled a thief and charged with fraud. So a 1 hour trip turned into a 6 hour trip. It's amazing how things never work out as you planned. Last night we were looking at James and how we may make plans, but God knows and determines our steps. Only 2 days until Fear Factor. Peace Out.

What's up?

We didn't let the weather dampen our fun on Friday. When the Go-kart track was closed we went to Ruckers instead; the casino for kids. Bree and Tigger got a ton of tokens, Steven proved he could hunt deer with the best, and I'm not sure where my money went.
Here's the deal for this week:
Tuesday Biblestudy: A look at the book of James 7:30 @ office
Wednesday Softball for fun: 6:30 behind the school
Thursday Biblestudy: 7:30 @office
Friday: Fear Factor 7:00 @ office> it's free!!
- check near the end of the week to see what's shaking next week

Heartbreaking theft

During the week that I was away someone broke into the office, into the canteen, and into a specific container and stole the profit from the canteen; nothing else. This robbery saddens and worries me because it was obvious that the thief knew exactly where to go and what to get, meaning it was someone whom I have trusted and known, and not some random thief. I am not saddened or worried about the money, wordly possessions are only temporary. I am worried for the individual(s) that would do this, and the circumstance that would drive them to steal from their friends like this. If you did this and need help because you are in trouble, or into drugs: forget about the money, all is forgive, but get help! I can help you or find someone who can help you! I'm praying for you, whoever you are; praying that God will give you the courage to come forward and to also know that we don't think any less of you, we just want to help.
Sincerely, Adam

Go Kart..Go Crazy

This friday we are going Go-Karting! I know quite a few are going with the Baptist to YC, but for those of you who are sticking around that's what we are doing. We will be leaving for PA about 6:45 from the office on Friday. You'll need $2 for gas, money for food afterwards, and about $13 for a kart ride and a round of mini-golf, but you can mix and match that as much as you want, or if you want to come to just watch that's cool. I hope to see you on Friday, and have fun to those of you going to Alberta.

This just in...Youthguy gets married!!

What a blast this last weekend was! Rachelle and I have been recalling different things throughout the wedding day and we are completely satisfied as to how things turned out. It was especially cool to have so many of the youth and their families out to the ceremony and the dance. From the guys sitting around the table at the dance, to the big dance circle, and I think I saw Greg dancing with Rachelle; all around it was a lot of fun. Rachelle and I are looking forward to getting back into the swing of things as a married couple(at the end of our holidays), and our house is still open to you guys, and you are still welcome to call anytime you need to talk. Thanks for the support you've given us. We love you all.

BanaRama

Hey, if you missed out on Friday, we had a blast at BanaRama! Is was cool to have Randy and Austin out, we've missed having them there. We had couple of events: the highlights were a game of "Steal the Banana", in which there were some sweet wrestling match-ups, and it was pretty priceless when a few guys tried to mush bananas through a pair of pantyhose on their heads. We'll have pictures up when they are available. This friday, there is no youth :( But you are invited to come to my wedding out at Lake Park on Saturday at 1:00pm. There's no youth the following week, except Go-karting on the Friday.

BananaRama

What is BananaRama? - A question I have been frequently asked. Here's a hint: It involves Bananas! BananaRama is an event of different activities involving bananas. And you have to trust me, it's going to be fun! Hopefully, curiosity has got you wondering, and you'll come out. It's at 7:30 this Friday @ the office, and it costs only $1. There will be food and prizes available. See you there!

Confirmation

Yesterday, it was awesome to hear what Spencer and Scott had to share at their confirmation. If you don't know what confirmation is: it's the process our church takes to prepare youth to take communion by examing all the basic aspects of the Christian faith, so they understand what being a Christian is all about and make it there own. When finished confirmation we have a service and the confirmands share a little bit. I had a great day: from the service, to the program after, to eating at Mansons, to visiting at Berge's. It was what a confirmation should be about, and I'm looking forward to May 14th when 6 more at the Community church will share and be confirmed.
